My daughter and her friends were discussing Abraham. They saw that, had he gone with Isaac to the altar knowing that a ram was waiting for him in the thicket, there would have been no need for him to exercise his faith, nor to display his fear of God. His joy at finding the ram and his recognition of God’s great provision for him increased his trust in the Lord.

“Wow” moments are amazing, but we never fully appreciate the great workings of God until we have an “uh-oh” moment first.
