I’m not thrilled with spiders.  My husband and son get the big ones for me (the ones that crunch when you squish them with a tissue). 




I was standing on a large field the other day, and someone told me to look out across the grass toward the east.  There were thousands of tiny webs everywhere (and not a spider in sight!), dewy and untrampled in the early sun.  Facing any other direction or neglecting to look down, I would have missed that gossamer moment.




O.K., so I can appreciate a spider’s workmanship (though I’m still not a big fan).  What about the many other small things that we miss in our daily hurriedness?  Keep your eye out (and watch your back—there may be something just ready to…pounce)!
