Arriving home to the golden words “The dishwasher is full of water and it’s leaking” gives a small clue as to how you’ll be spending the afternoon.  My husband began barking out orders, and we began prepping for surgery.  “Hit the breaker!”  “Towel!”  “Tool kit!”   “Trouble light!”  “Tylenol!”  “Bucket!”  “Sense of humor!”

After 2 hours on the floor and digging into the smallest and last possible places, we had our culprit:  a cherry pit.  It was nice to find the problem, but it would have been a teensy bit easier on everyone if the pit had been properly disposed of in the first place.

Is there a small pit in your life?  Do you need to apologize for something you said or did?   Has the seed of an impure thought been planted?  Clear it up now-- today-- with the Lord, then go to the other person and make things right.  You’ll spend a lot less time in surgery!
