“I’m going on a field trip to ‘Bancouver!” he said with 6 yr. old delight.

“Oh—what are you going to do when you get there?”

“See the skyscrapers!”

“What are those?”

“Really tall buildings.”

“Why do they call them skyscrapers?”

Sigh. “’Cause they scrape the sky.”

“Why do they need to do that?”

“To scrape away the clouds so we can see the sun!”
